Dr William Edmeades enjoyed a very international upbringing although his formative years in education were spent in Oxfordshire, England. He graduated from the Royal London School of Medicine and Dentistry in 2005 with his Bachelor of Dental Surgery.
Dr Edmeades spent several years working in oral and maxillofacial surgery in the UK and has pursued post graduate qualifications in oral implantology orthodontics and facial injectables. A dedicated general dental surgeon, Dr Edmeades’ clinical interests are in
oral surgery, implantology, and in oral and cosmetic rehabilitation.
Dr Edmeades is especially interested in using the latest technologies to restore oral health, and in the intimate connection
between oral health and overall health. He takes a holistic approach when treating patients and when appropriate, liaises with other specialists to deliver the very best level of care for people. Dr Edmeades is passionate about preventive dentistry, discussing modifiable factors with patients that could help improve oral and potentially overall health too. He is also passionate about charity work and is now offering oral health care to specific individuals who will benefit from treatment.
Previously, Dr Edmeades has enjoyed charity work all over the world, including Mozambique, Laos, and Kenya, and is currently involved more locally.
Away from dentistry, Dr Edmeades has a passion for climbing, which he combines with his love of travel. Travel is one of his favourite subjects to chat about, along with politics, farming, gadgets and technology
