Dr Nelson Lee grew up in Brisbane and graduated from the University of Queensland with a PhD in Medicine, before graduating from the University of Sydney with a Bachelor of Dentistry. Dr Lee is a general dentist but he is particularly interested in preventative dentistry. He firmly believes in tailoring each treatment to fit the needs of the individual, and he loves being able to help people regain a healthy smile and their self-esteem. Dr Lee also enjoys educating children on the importance of oral health and dental care. He has lived locally since 1990 and is a long-time supporter of a variety of charity organisations which include the Leukemia Foundation, the Queensland Cancer Foundation, the Cerebral Palsy Alliance and the Red Cross. Dr Lee always loves talking to patients and you will find him very easy to chat to. He enjoys hearing about people's travel and holiday plans and likes to keep up with the latest movies and video games.

Dr Ankita lives locally to SmileBright Dental. She highly values the importance of her patients' oral health and well-being. She believes in by providing personalised care and attention so she can help her patients feel comfortable and confident in their dental care. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, going hiking and camping brings her joy. She believes that a healthy work-life balance is essential to maintaining physical, emotional, and mental well-being, and she is committed to making time for the people and actitivities that matter most to her.

Dr Dennis Chang established SmileBright Dental over 25 years ago. His extensive experience, world-class treatments and gentle caring dentistry; makes Smile Bright Dental a leading Brisbane dental practice. Dr. Chang graduated from the University of Otago, New Zealand, in 1997 with a Bachelor of Dental Science. He has a special interest in Cosmetic, Restorative and Implant Dentistry and has built an enviable reputation on providing exceptional quality restorative and cosmetic dentistry. Dr. Chang has a strong belief that quality treatment with long term stability and regular preventative care are the keys to keeping your teeth for life. Dr Sonia Chen graduated from the University of Adelaide with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery before moving back to Queensland, where she spent her childhood. With her gentle touch, empathetic nature and patient-centred approach, Dr Sonia is dedicated to helping patients achieve healthy, confident smiles. Her underlying goal is to build long-lasting relationships founded on trust and warmth with each individual. Dr Sonia finds fulfilment in all aspects of general dentistry, with a special emphasis on preventative and restorative care. She truly believes the impact of a healthy smile extends beyond an overall healthy wellbeing to quality of life, self-esteem and confidence. Outside of dentistry, Dr Sonia enjoys exploring local eateries (as a keen foodie), venturing through scenic natural landscapes, diving into a good book in the evenings and experimenting with new hobbies (fishing is next…). Dr Sonia values the privilege of being enriched by new experiences and connections, and is passionate about truly getting to know each and every patient to empower them in their unique dental journeys. Alan graduated with a Bachelor of Applied Science (Oral Health) from the university of Queensland, Brisbane in 2007. He is an Oral Health Therapist and works with our dentists to promote the idea that “prevention in dentistry is better than intervention”. He feels that health is life and provides quality dental services to the community to ensure everyone has great oral health. He started his dental career in Rockhampton, where he worked for Queensland Health in the school dental vans for 2 years. He has a passion for dentistry especially children’s dentistry, but also has an interest in periodontal and gum disease treatment. Outside of work, Alan is a qualified personal trainer who loves to play sports and is a dedicated team member of SmileBright Dental.

Dr. Yoon Lee is our Korean dentist here at SmileBright Dental. He attended Griffith University, graduating with a Bachelor of Oral Health in Dental Science with Graduate Diploma of Dentistry. As a general dentist, Dr. Yoon Lee enjoys all aspects of dentistry with special interest in implant dentistry, periodontal health, restorative dentistry as well as paediatric dentistry. His uniformed approach towards his patients with high quality of dental competence allows Dr. Yoon Lee to deliver the best dental care that patients seek with his gentle and calm demeanor. When not working, you will catch Dr. Yoon Lee playing sports that include soccer and tennis, working out at the gym, playing musical instruments and keeping up to date with dental journals
