After receiving braces as a kid, Ben set out on a mission to improve the livelihoods and oral health for all. Ben attended the University of Queensland and graduated with First Class Honours. Separate from his achievements, Ben brings with him fresh ideas and an energetic outlook to the Coastal team. A true Gold Coaster, Ben remains a member of his local surf life-saving club. He is committed to saving lives on the beach, as well as improving lives in the dental chair.

Dr Joshua Lee is a dentist with a compassionate, patient-centred approach. Born in New Zealand, Joshua grew up on the Gold Coast. He studied locally at Griffith University where he completed a Bachelor of Oral Health in Dental Science and a Master of Dentistry. During his studies, he received the “Sir Sammeul Griffith Scholarship” for dentistry. He also graduated with a “head of school commendation for academic excellence”. In addition, Dr Joshua Lee is a member of Griffith Honour College. In the dental practice, Joshua enjoys social interaction with his patients. He emphasizes that every patient is different, and every case brings its own unique challenges. Joshua values the responsibility to improve his patients’ oral health conditions and thereby effectively improve their quality of life.

Cristina studied Dental Hygiene at the University of South Australia in Adelaide in 2016 and has been working as a Dental Hygienist on the Gold Coast since then. Cristina has vast experience in different fields of dentistry and enjoys helping patients by answering their questions/doubts about their dental treatments. She loves to provide a positive experience for all her patients. Christina love’s when patients leave her chair with a smile and tell her that they had a good experience and they want to come back because I know I made a difference in their lives. I also like the fact that I can help patients smile with confidence after a nice clean.

Dr Craig Waring is a senior dentist at Coastal Dental Care Mermaid Beach with over 35 years of experience. Craig attended the University of Queensland and completed a Bachelor of Dental Science with First Class Honours. Following this, his passion for starting his own private practice grew and he moved to the Gold Coast with his wife Kate to pursue this opportunity. Dr Craig Waring is a senior dentist at Coastal Dental Care Mermaid Beach with over 35 years' experience. In 1986, Dr Craig Waring formed his own practice on the coast which quickly grew and became one of the largest multi-clinics in Queensland. Furthermore, his practice included 9 surgeries and full in-house acrylic and ceramic laboratories. Craig has been instrumental in helping many young graduates find their passion and desire to start their own private practice. He enjoys giving back to dentistry through mentoring and developing their careers.
