Dr Sai Putluru is a compassionate, patient-focused general dentist dedicated to helping patients achieve confident, healthy smiles through high-quality, evidence-based dentistry. She completed her Bachelor of Dental Health Science, followed by Master of Dentistry with Distinction at Griffith University on the Gold Coast. Her academic excellence reflects a strong foundation in clinical knowledge and practice, along with her commitment to patient-centred care. Originally from Adelaide, Dr Sai relocated to the Gold Coast to pursue her dental education. Growing up in a close-knit community and volunteering at a local health centre supporting children with disabilities helped shape her strong appreciation for empathy, connection, and the importance of patient-centred care. These experiences reinforced her desire to pursue a career in healthcare and ultimately dentistry, where she could combine science, precision, and creativity while making a meaningful difference in people’s lives. Dr Sai Putluru developed a keen interest in comprehensive and restorative dentistry, recognising the significant impact oral health has on comfort, confidence, and overall quality of life. Drawn to dentistry for its blend of healthcare and human connection, her training emphasised patient-centred care, prevention, and long-term treatment planning. These principles continue to guide her clinical approach today, alongside her commitment to ongoing professional development and evidence-based practice to ensure the highest standard of care. Having worked with patients from diverse backgrounds, Dr Sai has managed a wide range of oral health needs. She enjoys comprehensive treatment planning and takes the time to listen to patients, understand their concerns, and assess their current oral health before developing a personalised, holistic treatment plan focused on restoring both function and aesthetics in a thoughtful way. She finds particular fulfilment in helping anxious patients feel at ease by providing care in a calm, supportive, and judgement-free environment. Seeing patients gain confidence, not only in their smiles but in themselves, after receiving personalised care is one of the most rewarding aspects of her work. Outside the clinic, Dr Sai enjoys maintaining an active and balanced lifestyle. She loves spending time outdoors hiking and exploring local cafés with friends, and she values quality time with family. At home, she can often be found painting, a creative pursuit that combines patience, precision, and fine motor skills, qualities she brings to every aspect of her dental practice. This blend of creativity, attention to detail, and a strong focus on health reflects her approach to dentistry, delivering meticulous, patient-centred care that supports both oral health and overall wellbeing.

Dr Timothy Judd is a dentist with experience behind the scenes of dentistry. Having worked as a dental technician for over 10 years, he knows a lot about the technical challenges of creating beautiful smiles. Tim first completed a Bachelor of Oral Health in 2014 at the University of Newcastle-Ourimbah. He then graduated with an “Executive Dean’s Award for Academic Excellence” from Charles Sturt University in 2019 (Bachelor of Dental Science). Tim started his career as a dental technician. This was after he received his Diploma of Dental Technology at the Sydney Institute of Technology. After working in both Sydney and Charlestown, he developed the desire to become a dentist. He wanted to be at the forefront of patient treatment. This allows him to be part of the smile transformation from start to finish. For this reason, Tim first completed a Bachelor of Oral Health in 2014 at the University of Newcastle-Ourimbah. He then graduated with an “Executive Dean’s Award for Academic Excellence” from Charles Sturt University in 2019 (Bachelor of Dental Science). He additionally received the highly coveted prize “The Kathy and Jim Ironside Award for Overall Competency in Fixed Prosthodontics”. Now Dr Timothy Judd is excited about meeting patients and helping them achieve the smile they desire at Coastal Dental Care. He has a kind and empathetic approach towards patients. Tim enjoys all aspects of dentistry with particular interest and aptitude in prosthodontics, oral surgery and endodontics. Outside of dentistry, Tim loves spending time anywhere and everywhere with his family. You may also see him flying over the coast as he is an aspiring recreational pilot. Tim also enjoys playing golf, skiing, and travelling to explore new places with his family.

Cristina Del Hierro studied Dental Hygiene at the University of South Australia in Adelaide 2016, and has been working as a Dental Hygienist on the Gold Coast. Cristina has a vast experience in different fields of dentistry and enjoys helping patients by answering their questions/doubts about their dental treatments. Christina love’s when patients leave her chair with a smile and tell her that they had a good experience and they want to come back because Cristina knows she made a difference in their lives. Cristina also likes the fact that she can help patients smile with confidence after a nice clean. Her free time consists of going to the gym, doing yoga, and enjoying anything outdoors – the beach, hiking and mountain biking. She looks forward to seeing you at your next visit.

Dr Xavier Vallé grew up in New Caledonia and moved to the Gold Coast in 2008. He graduated from Griffith University with Academic Excellence in his completion of the Bachelor of Oral Health in Dental Science and Graduate Diploma in Dentistry. As a clinician, Xavier enjoys all aspects of dentistry, with a particular interest in restorative dentistry. Being fluent in French, Dr Xavier is more than happy to help any French speaking patients with their dental treatment. Having lived near the ocean all his life, Xavier enjoys all kinds of water sports such as surfing, wakeboarding, and fishing. He also enjoys playing music and painting in his free time.

Susan Bradshaw is a Registered Dental Therapist and Hygienist at Coastal Dental Care Runaway Bay. With over 20 years of experience, Susan has the knowledge and expertise to help all our patients on their healthy smile journeys. Working within specialist practices in New Zealand and Australia, Susan’s dedication to her training has provided growth in numerous areas, including specialising in Dental Implant maintenance. When not putting smiles on her patient’s faces, Susan is spoiling her six grandkids.

Tahnee Wilson is passionate about working in the dental industry because it allows her to interact with many people daily. This constant engagement with diverse individuals keeps her job exciting and fulfilling. Each day brings new challenges and opportunities to help someone, which fuels her passion for dentistry and continuously motivates her to improve her skills. Tahnee’s greatest experience in her career is striving to change the stigma behind dentistry and make it more enjoyable for everyone. She is dedicated to creating a positive and comfortable environment for her patients, helping them overcome their fears and misconceptions about dental care. By fostering a welcoming atmosphere, Tahnee aims to transform how people perceive dental visits, making them a pleasant experience rather than a dreaded necessity. Growing up on the northern beaches, Tahnee developed a love for the ocean and outdoor activities. She enjoys spending her time off at the beach with family and friends. Running and going to the gym are her favourite pastimes, helping her maintain a balanced and healthy lifestyle. These activities reflect her vibrant and energetic personality, which she brings to her professional life. She relocated to the Gold Coast with her partner and 4-month-old to continue her studies in dentistry.

Natalie graduated from The University of Otago University with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery in 2009. Having spent a year working at a Dunedin hospital as a house officer, she returned to Auckland for 12 rewarding years in private practice as well as working at an emergency clinic where she gained extensive experience in treating trauma and anxious patients with a holistic approach as well as providing IV sedation for more complex procedures. With her passion for continuing education, she resigned from her lead dentist position and, in early 2024, moved to the Gold Coast, bringing her 15 years of comprehensive experience in general dentistry, driven by a genuine commitment to patient well-being and personalised care. Originally from Europe, Natalie moved to New Zealand in her early teens. Her early dental experiences inspired her to transform the dental experience for others, especially those who face fear and anxiety about dental visits. For her, dentistry combines a love of healthcare, communication, and the art of precision—passions she’s held since childhood. In early 2024, Natalie relocated to the Gold Coast, bringing her 15 years of comprehensive dental expertise. She is committed to making patients feel relaxed, informed, and supported in their dental journey. By taking the time to understand her patients, Natalie fosters a welcoming environment where transparency and patient empowerment come first. Currently pursuing postgraduate studies at Griffith University, Natalie enjoys supervising dental students and sharing her knowledge with the next generation of aspiring dentists. She has mentored young new graduate dentists back in New Zealand and is currently on the NZ Society of Endodontics committee. Natalie cherishes time with her young family outside of work and loves exploring the Gold Coast. She especially enjoys outdoor activities like running and biking in the early mornings, making the most of her new, sun-filled surroundings.

Dr William Dear grew up on the Gold Coast, and after receiving a Bachelor of Science at Griffith University, he relocated to Sydney to study dentistry. Having completed his Bachelor of Dental Surgery at the University of Sydney, he returned to the Gold Coast and has been at Coastal Dental Care Runaway Bay since 2004. Dr William Dear - Runaway Bay Coastal Dental Care Through his caring, gentle approach and passion for performing quality dentistry, William has built up a strong following of patients on the northern end of the Gold Coast. Whilst William performs all aspects of dentistry, he has a particular interest and passion for cosmetic and restorative dentistry and has completed his Master’s degree in Fixed and Removable Prosthodontics. A member of the Australian Dental Association, William is committed to continuing education and regularly attends lectures and seminars to ensure that his knowledge and skills are up to date. William is a keen surfer and an enthusiastic (though very average) golfer who also enjoys soccer, music, reading and travelling.
