Dr Jessica Tam graduated from the University of Melbourne in 2017 with various awards for her academic achievements and community service. Jessica is gentle, thorough and caring. She understands that people are often nervous about their visits to the dentist, and with this in mind, she enjoys creating a relaxing and comfortable experience for everyone. She takes the time to understand her patients and their individual needs to help keep them healthy. Dr Jess finds it very rewarding working with patients from all kinds of backgrounds and levels of dental need. She is up to date and modern in her approach, and is continuously enhancing her skills with further education. Outside dentistry, Jess loves cooking, practicing yoga and spending time with family and friends. Jess can speak Cantonese and Mandarin, and warmly welcomes everybody that comes through the door.

Dr John Chen is the principal dentist at Boroondara Dental. He graduated from The University of Melbourne in Year 2000 with a Bachelor of Dental Science. He is an active member of the Australian Dental Association and is currently the Chair of the Third-Party Committee of the Australia Dental Association Victorian Branch. He currently teaches dental students at the University of Melbourne once a week. Since graduation, John has provided dental care to patients in public dental clinics, school dental service and have worked in private practices in country Victoria and Melbourne. As a young dentist, he also joined the flying doctors providing dental care to Indigenous Aborigines in North Tropical Queensland and volunteered his time to teach local dentists in poor rural communities in Asia. He was also active in the Army Reserve as a Dental Officer. He started Boroondara Dental in the Year 2005 and has since provided exceptional dental care to his patients in his local community and throughout Melbourne and Victoria. John furthers his dental knowledge and skills by continuously attending dental conferences and courses in Australia and overseas. This allows him to keep up to date with the latest dental procedures and brings it back to the practice and his patients. He is caring, understanding and compassionate, and strives to provide the best quality dental care to his patients in the most relaxing environment. John grew up in the local Boroondara area and attended Melbourne Grammar School. During his spare time, he spends time with his lovely wife and 3 very active young boys.

Dr Jack Wang completed his Bachelor of Dental Science from the University of Melbourne in 2005. He is a highly experienced general and family dentist having been in practice for over 17 years. Previously, he was the Senior Dentist managing a large team of dental practitioners for a public health service in Melbourne, whilst also holding roles with La Trobe and Melbourne University being a Clinical Fellow in clinical supervision and mentoring of final year dental students, and also a past examiner for the Australian Dental Council of overseas qualifying dentists.
