Dr Claire Tan

Claire graduated from the University of Melbourne with a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. Before relocating to Melbourne, she lived in Sydney and completed a Bachelor of Biomedical Science with Honours at the University of Technology, Sydney. Claire is passionate about working collaboratively with her patients to achieve the results they’re looking for. She places strong emphasis on preventive care and enjoys educating and motivating her patients towards maintaining their oral health. She also values building lasting relationships with families, especially children, and is known for her warm, gentle approach that helps reduce dental anxiety in younger patients. Claire creates a calm and caring environment where kids feel safe and supported. A committed professional, Claire is a member of the Australian Dental Association and actively participates in ongoing education through seminars and workshops to stay up to date with the latest in dental care. Outside of work, Claire enjoys travelling with her family, planning photography trips with her partner, and discovering Melbourne’s vibrant café scene. She is also fluent in Mandarin, making her accessible to a broader range of patients in the community.
