Dr Jessy Youn

Dr Jessy Youn was born in South Korea and grew up in Melbourne, before she relocated to regional Victoria to complete her Bachelor of Health Sciences (Dentistry) and Master of Dentistry degree from La Trobe university. Dr Jessy prides herself in her attentiveness to the needs of patients and delivering the best care possible, tailored to their individual circumstances. She recognises a visit to the dentist is not a routine event for most patients. Her gentle and calming approach has been significantly reinforced by understanding that a single positive experience in the dental chair can not only make their day but promote a positive change in their daily oral health habits and future dental attendance. Dr Jessy enjoys all aspects of general dentistry with special interests in restorative dentistry and minor oral surgery. She is fluent in both English and Korean, as well as intermediate Japanese. Outside of dentistry, she enjoys meditation, occasional jogging, knitting and updating her to-watch movie list.
