Dr Mai completed a Bachelor of Dental surgery with honours at Alexandria University in 2005, having also completed her Australian Dental Council certification. Dr Mai enjoys implementing emergency treatment, crowns, veneers, restorative treatments, root canal treatment, and dentures. Her diligence in providing a high level of patient care is evident in the education she provides her patients on how to achieve the ultimate goal of decay free dentition. Dr Mai believes that one never stops learning, continuously building her knowledge of Dentistry through ongoing professional development. She all enjoys sharing her insight, tutoring undergraduate and overseas dentists. In her spare time, Dr Mai enjoys travelling, cooking, and spending time with family. Graduating with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery, Cairo University, Dr Karim Farag completed his Master’s degree in Prosthodontics, Cairo University, in 2010 before joining Australian Unity in 2014. Dr Farag takes pride in his caring and gentle approach, attention to detail, and ability to listen and empathise. Committed to participating in advanced courses and conferences, Dr Farag’s interest in new and emerging dentistry technology ensures he can provide the best possible outcomes for his patients. Dr Farag has particular interest in Endodontics, restorative and cosmetic dentistry. Outside of dentistry, Dr Farag enjoys travelling, listening to music and spending time with his family.

Dr Ahmad Altaher completed a Bachelor of Dental Surgery from Misr University for Science & Technology in 2012. He furthered his education and career by earning a Master of Public Health at La Trobe University. Dr Altaher is a highly experienced dentist in Hughesdale who accumulated an extensive wealth of knowledge and clinical insight by working at various high profile dental clinics like Kilmore Dental & Specialist. As an ardent member of the Australian Dental Association and the Australian Public Health Association, Ahmad is able to continuously upgrade his pool of expertise and stay in touch with the most advanced practices and procedures. A few of his clinical interests include endodontics, wisdom tooth extraction, implant surgery and cosmetic dentistry.

Dr Jason Tan graduated with a Bachelor of Health Sciences in Dentistry and Masters of Dentistry. He has worked in clinics across regional Bendigo and metropolitan Melbourne, gaining exposure to a multitude of clinical experiences and fostering patient relationships from all walks of life. Dr Tan is known for his friendly cheerful demeanour within the clinic. With a combination of joviality and bad puns, he strives to ensure every patient experiences an entertaining and stress-free dental appointment. Dr Tan has a special interest in preventative dentistry, indirect crown/bridge work and surgical extractions. Outside of the clinic, Dr Tan loves a good Netflix series binge, traversing the Melbourne foodscape and catching up with friends.

Dr Adrian Hore obtained a Licentiate in Dental Surgery alongside a Bachelor of Dental Science at the University of Melbourne in 1978. His area of expertise as a long standing veteren of dentistry encompasses all major disciplines of oral care particularly orthodontics. Dr Hore continues to stay at the precipice of discovery and innovation through continual education seminars. Moreover, Adrian is a caring and compassionate dentist in Hughesdale who is devoted towards providing patients with an unprecedented level of care in a warm, friendly and welcoming dental atmosphere. With a laser-like focus, deep clinical insight and a gentle manner of conduct, Dr Hore has been able to amass a multi-generational following of patients.

Mark is an Oral Health Therapist who graduated from Charles Sturt University with a special interest in restorative dentistry. He also holds a certificate in Adult Restorative care which allows him to treat patients of all ages. Mark is passionate about helping patients to prevent decay whilst improving their overall oral health. Mark’s expertise in treating patients with dental phobias is a driving force behind providing a safe and comfortable experience for all his patients while changing their view on dentistry. Outside of dentistry, Mark loves socializing with family and friends. He also loves dining out at new restaurants around Melbourne and spending time keeping active at the gym, and playing soccer.
