"Vicky graduated from the University of Melbourne with a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. Prior to joining Bayside Smiles, she gained invaluable experience treating patients from all walks of life in both public and private sectors across regional and metropolitan areas of Tasmania and Victoria. Vicky is passionate about helping her patients achieve and maintain their dream smiles with optimal oral health. Her practice philosophy revolves around the belief that a person’s oral health is closely connected to their overall well-being. In line with this, she strives to provide comprehensive care with a tailored approach, working together with patients to create treatment plans that meet their goals in the most efficient and effective manner. Vicky’s journey into dentistry was inspired by her own frequent visits to dental clinics as a child for braces. Having been a dental patient herself, she understands the importance of making sure that every individual feels comfortable and well-informed throughout their dental journey. She believes that maintaining open communication and developing a long-lasting patient-dentist relationship are essential elements of providing exceptional dental care. Vicky is also committed to lifelong learning, enabling her to incorporate the latest technologies into her clinical practice to provide evidence-based treatments. She regularly attends continuing professional development courses both locally and internationally. In her spare time, Vicky enjoys painting, exploring Melbourne’s vibrant and diverse food scene, and planning her next adventure to see the world."

Born and raised in Melbourne, Mihir graduated with honours from the University of Melbourne in 2011. After completing his studies, he moved to regional Victoria, where he has had extensive experience in both public and private dental practice. In 2013, he was appointed a senior dentist at Goulburn Valley Health and a lecturer at the University of Melbourne. His role was to provide clinical supervision and mentorship to final-year dental students. Since then, he has spent his time in private general practice in Shepparton. Although he is passionate about all aspects of general dentistry, he has a particular interest in prosthodontics. He is currently completing the final year of a Master's in Clinical Dentistry at the prestigious King's College in London. He finds it especially rewarding to restore function and dental health to individuals suffering the detrimental effects of extensive tooth wear or broken down dentitions. He always aims to treat his patients with empathy and understanding whilst striving to provide the highest quality, evidence-based care. He enthusiastically supports the profession and was the inaugural treasurer of the Australian Dental Association's Goulburn Valley Group. In his spare time, you will find him on the golf course or supporting his beloved Hawks. He also loves to travel the world and explore its culinary delights with his wife, Shashwati.

Dr Carolina Oliveira, previously known as Carol "Donadio", graduated in 2005 with a Doctor of Dental Science Degree, and in 2009, completed her Post Graduation degree in Prosthodontics. She completed both her graduate and post-graduate in Sao Paulo, her home city in Brazil, and is certified to practice in Australia as a general dentist by the Australian Dental Council. Carol moved to Melbourne in 2011, instantly fell in love with it and has called it home since. She adopts a holistic approach when treating her patients, caring for their well-being as the first and most crucial consideration when treatment planning. In addition, she loves educating patients and offering them a multidisciplinary treatment to help them achieve a confident smile and improve their general well-being. Her main areas of interest are full mouth rehabilitation, occlusion (achieving a harmonious bite) and cosmetic dentistry. This combination enables her to provide her patients with the beauty of ceramic crowns, onlays and veneers while never forgetting the function and importance of the bite mechanism, chewing muscles, jaw joint function and equilibrium. Most recently, Carol became a DSD (Digital Smile Design) member and proudly delivers the cosmetic results patients have dreamed of, with carefully and precisely planned, multidisciplinary treatments to help patients achieve aesthetic harmony between their new smile and overall facial appearance.
