Dr. Jesse Becker is a third generation dentist from Denver, Colorado, USA. He settled in Melbourne in 2015 after graduating with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery from the University of Otago in Dunedin, New Zealand, in 2011. He originally travelled to New Zealand for adventure and made contacts at the dental school and decided to study abroad. He moved to Australia after graduating and met his wife in Gold Coast they moved to Melbourne to pursue their careers. Jesse has a keen interest in restorative, implant and cosmetic dentistry. He is a personable, passionate empathetic and engaging dentist who strives to provide his patients with the best possible service. His upbringing in a dental family has benefited him with a keen understanding in the importance of communication when treating patients and an ethical edge for dental profession as a whole. Dentistry is a calling to him and providing the best for his patients is his absolute pleasure.

Dr Adam Evans attained a Bachelor of Dental Surgery in 1988, setting forth on a journey to becoming a highly renowned dentist in Toorak. Prior to joining K1 Dental, Adam ran a cosmetic dental practice for several years whilst enjoying a brief stint as a senior dental surgeon at a hospital. He has a proven track record of providing high quality dentistry to various local communities throughout Australia. Dr Evans can administer a range of diverse dental treatments with orthodontics being his forte. Through regularly engaging in ongoing professional education conferences and conventions, he is able to upskill and stay at the frontline of discovery and breakthrough. In his spare time, Adam finds pleasure in a good game of golf

Dr Jia Wen studied at the University of Melbourne, graduating with a Bachelor of Dental Science in 2011. Jia's repertoire of skills as a 9 year long dentist in Toorak includes orthodontics, endodontics, prosthodontics and cosmetic dentistry. In addition to this, she happens to be an accredited provider and administrator of Invisalign clear braces. Furthermore, Ms Wen regularly frequents professional development conferences and conferences to upskill and stay abreast of the latest advancements in cutting edge dentistry. Jia is able to really liven up the atmosphere and put the minds of anxious patients at ease through her uplifting sense of humour and unbridled enthusiasm. In her spare time, she loves to read, travel, cook and stay healthy.

Marcia is our Oral Health Therapist who graduated from The University of Melbourne. She is known among our patients for being very gentle, bright, and caring. Patients love her positivity and patience, creating an environment in the dental chair that's very relaxing - especially to patients that tend to get nervous. Marcia enjoys all spectrums of dentistry, with special interests in periodontics (gum and bone health) as well as aesthetic dentistry. She continuously keeping her dental knowledge and technology up to date by attending conferences and courses, ensuring to provide all her patients with the best treatment and care. In her spare time, Marcia loves baking, painting, and practicing yoga. She believes yoga helps her to stay fit and happy. Marcia is originally from Indonesia, growing up right here in Australia.

Tara Mackenzie is our Dental Hygienist at K1 Dental. Tara graduated from Melbourne University in 2006 with Dux of her year. Tara is passionate about getting to know her patients, she listens to their needs to ensure their dental visits are comfortable. She is committed to promoting oral health knowing the impact oral hygiene can have to the overall health and well-being of the body. Her bubbly personality makes your dental experience comfortable. Her aim is to alleviate any concerns and reduce any worry about return visits.
