Coming from a family of healthcare professionals, Dr Arik has always been inspired to provide optimal health care to the community. Having previously worked as a pharmacist manager for a number of years, he gained an affinity to effectively communicate and provide personalised patient care of the highest calibre. Throughout his dental degree, Dr Arik has had the opportunity to attend a volunteering program providing dental treatments to underprivileged communities in Cambodia. He has also gained experience working in the public sector completing a summer elective program in Monash Health Dental Services where he was providing treatments for emergency patients. Dr Arik always puts patients as a number one priority and is committed to providing personalised and painless dental experience to his patients. Outside of dentistry, Dr Arik enjoys playing soccer, drumming and photography.

JY graduated with a Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of Melbourne and had worked in private practice in Ballarat for a number of years. It was there where he was lucky to be mentored by good people who imparted excellent dentistry skills and more importantly, the ethics of a kind dentist. He is passionate in delivering the highest level of patient care and changing people's traditional expectations of a dental visit. JY loves meeting people from all walks of life and listening to their stories. Making things look pretty is also something that JY enjoys very much and he continually extends his knowledge with further courses to provide the most up-to-date treatments for his patients. When JY is not a dentist, you will find him maintaining beautiful water gardens or chilling with his two dogs and wife.

Dr Roman Pinkus feels he’s chosen the perfect profession. Inspired to pursue a career in dentistry by his family from a very young age, Roman enjoys bringing his enthusiasm for helping people to his work. Dr Roman is a member of the Australian Dental Association. He received his dental degree from La Trobe University Victoria and since graduation has completed numerous post-graduate courses on all aspects of dentistry. In addition to his general dentistry background, his particular special interests are in dental implants and teeth straightening.

A vital member of the Dickson Street Dental clinical team, Sharon is our resident oral hygiene therapist. Working together with our patients, Sharon is committed to making our patients’ regular check and cleans as comprehensive and comfortable as possible. With special affinity for children, Sharon is experienced in connecting with her younger patients in the dental chair. She is focused on building relationships based on trust while delivering the exceptional dental care that is synonymous with the Dickson Street Dental practice. Working with children, Sharon’s goal is to support all her patients by developing correct oral hygiene practices at an early age. She has graduate credentials from La Trobe University, gaining a Bachelor of Oral Health Science through her studies. As an oral health therapist, Sharon is qualified to perform preventative and restorative procedures for patients of all ages.
