Dr Anh has completed a Doctor of Dental Medicine with Distinction and a Bachelor of Science in Medical Sciences from the University of Western Australia. Anh enjoys all aspects of general dentistry and offers a wide range of treatments to her patients. She considers treatment of patients with dental anxiety an area of particular strength, and prides herself on her gentle and caring nature to help patients overcome their fear. Anh loves treating patients of all ages, especially children, and is enthusiastic about providing the best care for her patients and their families through being up to date with the latest information and techniques. Anh grew up in Perth, and is fluent in both English and Vietnamese. She has spent time volunteering in many rural towns of WA, and is passionate about giving her time to help those less fortunate. Outside of dentistry, Anh is a big foodie and you’ll most likely find her on the volleyball courts, spending quality time with her friends and family, or travelling and visiting new places!

Born and raised in Perth, Ida completed a Bachelor of Science before completing her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree at the University of Western Australia. She is a passionate and caring dentist who enjoys all aspects of general dentistry but has a particular interest in oral surgery and cosmetic dentistry. She is a certified Invisalign provider and has also completed training with the Australasian Academy of Dento-Facial Aesthetics. Ida regularly attends courses, both locally and internationally, to keep her knowledge and skills up-to-date through continuing professional development. She is committed to making patients feel at ease during their dental visits and alleviating the stress and anxiety that are often associated with the dentist. Ida is passionate about giving back to the community. In addition to working at Maylands Dental Centre, Ida works for the Royal Flying Doctor Service where she provides much needed dental treatment to those living in remote Aboriginal communities. She has also taken part in many dental volunteering programs within Australia and overseas, including Vietnam, Sri Lanka, and the Kimberley region of Australia. Outside of dentistry, Ida loves travelling, adventure, and the outdoors. She spends her time keeping fit and is always keen to discover new cultures and cuisines.

Dr. Jonathan grew up in the local area of Maylands and is thus committed to helping our community thrive as much as possible. He has extensive knowledge and experience in all aspects of dental care and additional training in complex surgical procedures. He is passionate about helping others and is a long-standing committee member for the Australian Dental Health Foundation (ADHF). This charity provides dental treatment to those unable to access timely dental care. He has also been teaching as a clinical tutor at the University of Western Australia (UWA) since 2017. Keeping abreast with the latest knowledge, he is an active member of the Australian Dental Association, International Association of Dental Research, Australian Society of Implant Dentistry, International Team of Implantology, Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons, and the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh.

Dr. Alex Leggat is a highly skilled and experienced dentist providing comprehensive general dentistry services now in Maylands. With a Bachelor of Dental Science degree from the University of Western Australia, he is proficient in all aspects of dental care, from routine fillings to complex extractions and restorative treatment. Dr. Leggat is committed to staying current on the latest dental practices to ensure that his patients receive the highest quality of care. In addition to his clinical expertise, he is also able to provide custom tailored solutions to meet the individual needs and preferences of his patients. Whether you need pain relief, a restored smile, or help maintaining your oral health, Dr. Leggat is the Carine dentist you can trust. In his free time, he enjoys snow skiing, fishing, and following AFL football.

Dr Emilia Bonfanti graduated with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery from the University of Glasgow in 2013. After completing her vocational training year in Scotland she worked at the Melbourne Dental Hospital before making the move to private practice in Perth in 2016. Emilia is dedicated to staying up-to-date with the latest advances in dentistry and has completed multiple post graduate training courses. Most recently she completed a post graduate Diploma in Aesthetic and Restorative dentistry awarded by the Australian College of Dental Practitioners. She also completed a Mini Residency in Prosthodontics under specialist prosthodontists Tony Rotondo and Michael Makindos gaining experience in full mouth rehabilitations for very worn down teeth. She provides all aspects of general dentistry but has a keen interest in cosmetic dentistry including tooth whitening, composite bonding and porcelain veneers. Emilia is a certified Invisalign provider and can utilise this to ensure your smile makeover is as minimally invasive as possible. Emilia understands that many people are dental phobic and is passionate about making your dental experience a positive one!

Dr Ash is a caring, gentle, skilled and friendly dentist who loves to help people achieve their best smiles! Dr Ash graduated from Otago, New Zealand in 2007, and has worked in Perth since 2011. Dr Ash practices all aspects of general dentistry, but they’re particularly passionate about orthodontics, and love nothing more than giving patients the straight teeth and beautiful smiles they deserve. Whether it’s through traditional braces or the clear and discreet Invisalign system, Dr. Ash has the knowledge to help you achieve the smile you’ve always wanted. When not working, Dr. Ash adores music, whether it’s listening to it, playing it or going to concerts. Dr Ash also loves spending time with their 2 young kids and dog.

Dr. Sandra Joseph is an Australian-trained family dentist who graduated from La Trobe University in Victoria. She spent years practicing in both regional Victoria and inner-city Melbourne and has extensive experience in public and private practice. Sandra further specialised by completing a Master of Dentistry in 2015. She has since moved to Perth with her husband, looking for a lifestyle change and to experience the great WA weather. Sandra is a highly experienced dentist in Perth and has worked at a mix of reputable public and private dental practices. She continues to learn new techniques and consolidate her knowledge by pursuing ongoing dental education. Dr. Sandra is known for her gentle care and is passionate about providing excellent support to patients on their journey to improved oral health. She is an active member of the Australian Dental Association and is always looking to update her skills and knowledge. Dr. Sandra is also an Invisalign Provider, focusing on restorative and cosmetic dentistry. Her favourite aspect of dentistry is transforming the smile and confidence of her patients and their families. Outside of work, Dr. Sandra is keenly interested in yoga and travelling the world. She is a huge bookworm and is keen to explore more of WA since moving from Victoria in early 2020. Dr. Sandra is currently on maternity leave.

Graduating from the University of Western Australia with a Doctor of Dental Medicine, Dr. Jackie welcomes patients of all ages to offer a wide range of treatments. She has a particular interest in preventative and minimally invasive dentistry, and always keeps her patients’ best interests in mind while educating each individual on the latest tips and tricks most suitable to them for maintaining optimal oral health at home. Dr. Jackie’s love of art and science led her to a career in dentistry where she strives to make every appointment a pleasurable one. She is a big advocate of prevention before intervention and therefore most happy when patients leave feeling empowered in their own oral health and enthusiastically looking forward to their next visit. Jackie enjoys treating both children and adults, and is passionate about making dental visits as comfortable as possible (whilst still being a perfectionist). Patients often compliment her on being calm and gentle, while her friendly nature ensures they understand their treatment. When not at work, Jackie loves being outdoors and exploring new places. She regularly goes camping when the opportunity arises. You’ll also find her keeping active at the beach, enjoying arts and crafts, and spending quality time with her friends and family.

Justin has extremely high personal standards and will always make every effort to give you the best outcome possible. He enjoys and practices all aspects of dentistry but has focused his practice on surgical and cosmetic aspects such as complex wisdom teeth removal, implant therapy, veneers and crowns. Justin takes the responsibility of transforming his patient’s lives with a custom smile makeover very seriously and to him, is one of the most rewarding aspects of his career. Justin is one of the most dedicated and passionate dentists in Perth and will constantly strive to provide you with the best experience possible no matter what kind of dental situation you are in.
