Dr. Elton takes a patient-centred approach to dentistry, believing that good outcomes are supported by patient education and collaborative treatment planning tailored to individual needs. He is a strong advocate for preventive and maintenance-based care, recognising that long-term oral health plays an important role in overall wellbeing and quality of life.
Known for his calm, approachable manner and country-style friendliness, Dr. Elton helps patients of all ages feel comfortable and at ease. He has supported many patients with previous negative dental experiences to feel more at ease in seeking care. He offers a range of sedation options including sleep dentistry, nitrous oxide, and oral sedation to help create a comfortable and calm experience.
Committed to continual growth, Dr. Elton regularly attends study clubs and continuing professional development courses to remain current with advances in modern dentistry.
His clinical interests include surgical dentistry, particularly complex wisdom tooth removal, single and multiple dental implants, bone grafting, sinus lifting and guided bone regeneration. He was awarded Fellowship of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists (FICOI) in September 2025, has completed further implant training with the Australian Implant Academy, and is undertaking advanced study in full-arch implant rehabilitation in 2026.
Dr. Elton also has a strong interest in endodontics and enjoys managing complex molar root canal treatments and retreatment cases. He completed a Mini Residency in Endodontics through the IDEA Institute in San Francisco, where he trained under Dr. John West, pioneer of the ProTaper Endodontic System.
In addition, he provides smile rehabilitation through aligner treatment, crowns, and veneers, supporting patients in restoring both function and the aesthetics of their smile. With a keen interest in digital dentistry, Dr. Elton integrates modern technologies such as intraoral scanning, digital treatment planning, and 3D printing into everyday clinical care.
