Sophie Hancy

Sophie graduated from the University of Western Australia in 2013 and has since worked in Bunbury, Geelong, and Melbourne. She has recently returned to Perth and is thrilled to join the team at Empire Dental Care. As a third-generation dentist, she proudly continues her family’s legacy in dentistry. Her family’s affinity to dentistry was probably a natural progression from their pearling business in Broome where Sophie’s great-great grandfather was locally known as the “Pearl Doctor”. Sophie enjoys all aspects of family dentistry and aspires to provide every patient with the highest standard of dental care. She strives to create a comfortable, welcoming environment where she can work closely with patients to achieve their oral health goals, improve their overall health, and restore their confidence in their smile. As dentistry is constantly evolving, Sophie is dedicated to continually advancing her skills and knowledge to ensure she offers the most up-to-date and optimal care for her patients. Outside of the clinic, Sophie enjoys spending time with her two young daughters, keeping busy with family life.
