Dr Pia Toivanen was born in Finland and raised in Australia, graduating with honours from the University of Sydney. She has worked across rural NSW, Sydney, and Germany, gaining broad experience in both community and metropolitan dentistry. Pia enjoys all aspects of general dentistry, with a strong focus on preventative care and helping children feel comfortable in the dental chair. Known for her calm, gentle approach, she provides personalised care and is a certified Invisalign Go provider. Pia is fluent in English and Finnish, and can also communicate in German and Brazilian Portuguese. Since moving to Western Australia in 2020, she has embraced the coastal lifestyle and enjoys time outdoors with her family and dog.
