Dr Gilda Brunello has worked in General Practice in Brisbane, and the Lower North Shore of Sydney with an interest in mental health, women’s health, Paediatrics, adolescent health, sexual health, preventative health and chronic disease. Over the last 5 years Gilda has been working in the youth mental health service, headspace, working in multiple centers throughout Sydney. She has also worked for the NGO, Uniting in the Adult Mental Health Service and the Youth Enhanced Support Service as a Mental Health General Practitioner. She did an additional year after her residency as a Chief Resident teaching in Phoenix and obtained her Board Certification in Internal Medicine in 1997. She worked for three years as an Internal Medicine physician in a Native American clinic and hospital in Phoenix, treating patients with diabetes, kidney disease and other chronic illnesses. In 2003 she moved back to Australia and obtained her general practice certification and has been working in general practice ever since. She has special interests in dermatology and has completed a certification in primary care skin cancer medicine. She performs skin cancer checks and also skin cancer biopsies and removals. She has also been specially trained in cosmetic procedures.

He completed his internship and residency at Bankstown and Liverpool Hospitals between 1998 and 2000, where he developed a solid foundation in general medicine. From a young age, he knew he wanted to specialise in general practice and went on to complete his post-graduate training to become a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in 2002.
