Colleen graduated with a Bachelor of Optometry from UNSW (Hons 1) in 1981. Initially working in Sydney, Newcastle and later Tweed City, she returned to UNSW to tutor in Optometry. Moving back to Northern NSW became a priority as she wanted to bring up her family in the beauty of the rainforests and beaches of Northern NSW. Colleen opened her practice in the vibrant town of Mullumbimby 35 years ago where she feels privileged to have pursued her love of clinical optometry and be supported and awed by this wonderful resilient community. Colleen has been lucky to secure Be Seen Eyewear and Jamie White as the new future custodians of Mullumbimby Optometry and is honoured to remain as part of the team.
