Just opened! We are a brand new boutique optometry practice, headed by the very experienced optometrist Mike Makras. We specialise in premium eyewear, for the discerning client.

With over 3 decades of experience, Michael Makras is one of Brisbane's most respected names in independent eyewear. Having practiced as an optometrist across the UK and Australia since 1988, and having originally founded Optiko eyewear as a local institution, he now returns to James St to embark on an exciting new evolved chapter with MAKRAS OPTICAL.
