Mark Hinds Optometrists is an independent, owned and operated optometry practice dedicated to providing the personal experience that everyone who entrusts us with their vision deserves. We offer complete eye care services including spectacles, contact lenses, specialty and complex contact lenses, paediatric optometry and children’s vision, binocular vision issues, and comprehensive eye health assessments. Our practice is equipped with state-of-the-art diagnostic technology for the early detection of ocular pathology, along with specialist contact lens evaluation systems and advanced lens designs. While we are well known for managing complex cases such as keratoconus, post-corneal grafts, severe dry eye, and corneal ectasia, we provide care for all patients — not just complex contact lens fittings. Whether your needs are routine or highly specialised, we are here to help. Our Myopia Control Clinic is at the forefront of technology, featuring the Zeiss IOLMaster and OCT biometry for precise axial length measurement in our ortho-k children. If your child’s — or your own — myopia is progressing, there are proven treatments available, and we have the advanced diagnostic tools to accurately monitor treatment success over time. We are also proud to be the only practice in Queensland equipped with both the Pentacam AXL Wave and the Corvis ST, allowing for the earliest possible detection of keratoconus and corneal ectasia through advanced corneal tomography and biomechanical assessment. This ensures earlier diagnosis, improved monitoring, and the highest standard of care for patients at risk of progressive corneal disease.
