Liza Deuel

Liza graduated from the University of Melbourne with a further degree in Advanced Clinical Optometry. Having specialised in Children’s vision, Contact lenses and Low vision, Liza completed her studies at the Australian College of Optometry and started working at a large multinational chain before opening the family practice with her sister Julia in 2003. Liza continued to update her qualification by completing her Post Graduate Certificate in Ocular therapeutics, and enjoys treating and helping her patients with their red and uncomfortable eyes. Liza loves the interaction with her patients, seeing the kids grow up into adults and getting to know their extended families. It’s rewarding to see so many patients return regularly to the practice.
