Jeremy Richards

Jeremy has been working as an Optometrist for 25 years. He has worked in a variety of situations, including as a state wide locum for four years. During this time he worked for independents and corporate stores, in the city, suburbs, regional and rural. It was an experience which helped him work out what mode of optometry works best for most patients. Independent optometry gives him the freedom, flexibility and scope to deal with each patient and their individual needs. Jeremy says “Being an Optometrist means I can help improve people’s lives. There isn’t a sense more important than vision. Independent Optometry has such a wonderful mix of features, and they’re all important. I get to work in retail, medical, administration, human resources, as well as test people’s eyes! And it is possible to do all this and keep a smile on everyone’s faces.”
