Eric Cheng

Eric graduated from the University of Melbourne in 2008 with a therapeutic endorsement and externship to the State University of New York. Following graduation, he has worked across metropolitan cities and regional towns in Australia including hospital and community health settings. Eric has previously provided Indigenous eyecare and outreach services in Africa. Eric also has a keen interest in ocular disease detection, prevention and management, working closely with ophthalmologists. In 2015 he completed a Specialist Certificate in contact lenses at The University of Melbourne. When not at Eye Can C, he teaches future optometrists at The University of Melbourne with over 10 years of experience in a teaching role and has undertaken further postgraduate study in education at the same institution.
