Physioform Cammeray is led by practitioner Daniel Lakkis who has a special interest in working with patients who require supportive, patient-centred care, to address both the emotional and physical aspects of their pain or injury. As a physiotherapist, he likes to walk clients through the journey in an encouraging and holistic manner that returns their independence and self-efficacy to their life. Daniel holds a Bachelor of Science from the University of Melbourne, a Master of Physiotherapy from the University of Sydney and a Master of High Performance Sport from the Australian Catholic University. He has worked in professional sport in Australia and the United States, and in private practice clinics with clients of all ages.

David’s interest in physiotherapy was first sparked over a decade ago through his own experience as an athlete, competing in boxing at a national level, with a brief stint in the professional ranks. That exposure to high-level training and competition set him on the path to becoming a physiotherapist, one grounded in an understanding of what it actually takes to get back to what you love doing following an injury. Since qualifying, David has built broad clinical experience across sports physiotherapy, WorkCover rehabilitation, and post-operative care. He has a particular interest in lower limb injuries (e.g. hips, knees, and ankles), with a strong focus on post-surgical rehabilitation, helping patients rebuild strength and confidence through every stage of recovery. David combines hands-on manual therapy with a strength-and-performance-based approach to rehabilitation.
