Lauren is a passionate physio with a particular love for concussion rehabilitation and lower limb injuries, especially knees. As an AFL player who has personally navigated two ACL reconstructions, she brings a level of empathy and insight to rehab that is genuinely hard to teach. Lauren blends hands-on treatment with exercise therapy and biomechanical principles, tailoring every session to the individual, whether that’s returning to sport, building strength, or simply moving through daily life with more confidence. She also leads a range of Pilates classes at Bodyworks after recently completing her Reformer Pilates Qualification. A Kokoda Trail finisher and dedicated volunteer with Surf Lifesaving Australia and AFL Sydney, Lauren’s energy and warmth have a way of making everything hurt just a little bit less from the very first hello.

Cooper grew up competing at elite-level tennis, and knows first-hand how much an injury can take from you, physically and mentally. That experience is at the core of his approach: get to the root cause, not just the symptoms, so your pain goes away and stays away. With a background spanning sports, orthopaedic and neurological rehabilitation, Cooper delivers individualised care that combines effective hands-on therapy with targeted exercise. He’s our resident tennis and Pickleball expert, a passionate advocate for healthy ageing, and the man to see for any stubborn elbow or shoulder issue. He also runs our Well-Balanced falls prevention program and shoulder classes, because everyone deserves to hang the washing without wincing.

Max’s love for physiotherapy started early, as a state-level long distance runner, he spent enough time on the treatment table to know exactly what good care looks like. That experience drives his passion for running injuries, lower limb biomechanics and orthotic prescription, and his commitment to finding solutions that actually stick. Since joining Bodyworks, Max has continued to develop his manual therapy skills and is equally at home treating elite athletes as he is helping someone get off the couch without wincing. He also runs our popular Wave Warriors program, a surf-specific class targeting strength, flexibility and balance for surfers (especially handy for tradies whose backs take a beating before they even hit the water).
