Julia is a Physiotherapist based at our Caringbah clinic. She holds a Bachelor of Physiotherapy from the Australian Catholic University. Positive, passionate, and dedicated, Julia takes a holistic and evidence-based approach to treatment. She has always been fascinated by how the body works and enjoys deepening her understanding of various conditions and how they impact people. Her desire to support individuals with personalised, targeted care is what led her to join The Healthy Body Company. Julia believes in a hands-on approach to reduce pain and improve function, complemented by tailored exercise programs and education that empowers her clients to achieve their best possible health outcomes. Julia grew up surrounded by sport, which sparked her love of movement from an early age. She continues to enjoy playing soccer and staying active in the community. She believes exercise should have a place in everyone’s life—not only for building strength and mobility but also for supporting mental wellbeing. She enjoys encouraging others to find forms of movement that feel enjoyable and sustainable for them. Julia has a strong interest in helping people manage osteoarthritis, guiding clients through post-operative rehabilitation, and treating temporomandibular joint dysfunction. She also enjoys working at sporting events, where she can assist athletes in real time.

Travis Adelerhof is a Physiotherapist in our Caringbah team that graduated from Charles Sturt University, Orange with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy in 2021, excelling in his studies, receiving a Dean’s Award for Academic Excellence in the final two years of his degree. Travis’ interest in injury rehabilitation and human performance began in high school with his own sporting endeavours including Rugby League & Rugby Union where he played Juniors for the Aquinas Colts JRLFC and senior football for Orange CYMS CRL. Travis has a passion for sports injury rehabilitation and high performance, and believes in empowering individuals to reach their goals and live a healthy and active lifestyle. In addition to his passion for sports injury rehabilitation, Travis also has an interest in the management of Vertigo & Dizziness, Vestibular rehabilitation & Temporomandibular Joint (TMJ) Dysfunction.

Tui is a physiotherapist at our Caringbah clinic with a strong interest in sports injuries, headaches, and healthy aging. She grew up participating in gymnastics and athletics, and currently enjoys surfing, freediving, playing recreational volleyball, and Latin dancing. Her active lifestyle, combined with her love of art and life drawing, sparked her interest in physiotherapy through a curiosity about movement and the human body. Tui graduated from Western Sydney University with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy with Distinction. She excelled in her studies, receiving a Dean’s Award for Academic Excellence in all four years of her degree. Tui is a member of the Australian Physiotherapy Association (APA). She has worked with the NSW Touch Football Association and has experience working in swim training with young children. Tui also has a background in teaching English and has spent time travelling internationally. She speaks conversational Spanish and values engaging with people from diverse cultural backgrounds. This experience has supported her strong communication skills and her collaborative approach to working with patients.

Zena Metcalfe is a remedial massage therapist based in our Caringbah practice. She is also a member of the Australian Traditional Medicine Society (ATMS). Zena has a degree in Sports Studies specialising in physiology and has always had an interest in how the body works, movement, postural habits and dealing with injuries. Zena decided to study remedial massage to help family and friends as well as the wider community – founding her passion in massage therapy. Zena is a JEMS certified Clinical Rehabilitation Practitioner which enhances her understanding of movement systems.

Sport has always been a part of Steph Winchester’s life and she grew up playing multiple sports including netball, soccer, and basketball and she continues to play touch football at a representative level. With this involvement in sport Steph developed a keen interest in injury prevention and management. Steph Winchester graduated with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy in 2014 from the Australian Catholic University. Steph joined our Caringbah team after working in a large private practice for several years treating a variety of musculoskeletal and sporting injuries. Steph thrives on helping her patients reach their full potential and has wide experience in treating both an athletic and general population. She utilises a hands-on and exercise–based approach to treatment, centred around the most recent evidence. Steph is a member of the Australian Physiotherapy Association and has completed post qualification training in the following areas: Sports Level 1 2016 The Sporting Spine Course Dr. Peter Malliaris Lower Limb Tendinopathy Course APPI Matwork And Equipment Pilates Level 1 The Pregnant Pelvis A career highlight for Steph was the opportunity to travel with the Australian Touch Football teams to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and Nottingham, England for the Touch Football World cups.
