Kelsey graduated with a Masters of Physiotherapy from The University of Queensland in 2023, following completion of a Bachelor of Sport and Exercise Science in 2018.
Her interest in sports, health and fitness began at a young age, where she competed in Olympic weightlifting, representing Australia as a Junior. She has 15 years' experience coaching weightlifting and Crossfit across multiple gyms. It was during this time that she developed a passion for helping people of all ages and skill levels to move to the best of their ability and optimise their functional capacity.
In addition to her Physiotherapy qualifications, she holds her Crossfit Level 2, Olympic Weightlifting and gymnastics certifications and has taught coaching seminars for Crossfit Olympic weightlifting across Australia and New Zealand.
Kelsey prides herself on integrating this skillset within her physiotherapy practice. She believes in addressing movement proficiency to optimise performance and is passionate about keeping people engaged in their sport throughout their rehabilitation.
Beyond her physiotherapy experience, Kelsey brings a diverse professional background, having previously worked in respiratory clinics, a lower back pain rehabilitation centre, and the medical device industry supporting orthopaedic trauma.
