Ki Yan (Kevin) Cheung graduated in Hong Kong as a physiotherapist in 2001. He completed his post-graduate studies at University of Queensland studying Masters in Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy in 2005. He has worked at special school for children with disabilities, elderly centre, and private practices in O’Connor, Kalamunda and Forrestfield. Kevin joined Parkwood Physiotherapy since 2006 and became the practice principal in 2015. He has been involved in clinical supervision for final year physiotherapy students from Curtin University since 2009. Kevin’s expertise is in Musculoskeletal and spinal injury. He is also interested in knee rehab as well. Kevin has completed DMA clinical Pilates courses and has been using it as part of the treatment, also he has been using acupuncture for treating his patients as well. Outside of work, Kevin is a fan of Newcastle United FC in EPL. He can only play soccer with friends occasionally, as he is busy with his two kids Ethan and Ivana.

Frank (Yi Hang) Chan graduated from Curtin University as a physiotherapist. He has various clinical experience in a wide range of settings such as tertiary hospital, musculoskeletal outpatient clinic, and primary school in the community. Also, he worked as a sport trainer for rugby teams in Cockburn to gain experience in managing sport-related injuries. These experiences have shaped Frank into a passionate physiotherapist who is confident in treating different population, from children to elderly. He is interested in treating musculoskeletal injuries and surgical rehabilitation the most. Frank has completed his further study with Dry Needling and Clinical Pilates, which he incorporates those into his intervention. Frank loves playing badminton and exploring all different sports. He used to be windsurfing regularly when he was in Hong Kong.

Hena Khant completed her Bachelor of Physiotherapy at Curtin University in 2016. She started her career working as a physiotherapist in the Private hospital setting and Aged Care, with particular focus in acute and sub-acute rehabilitation, post- operative management of various orthopaedic, cardio-thoracic surgical procedures and inpatient post-natal services. Hena shifted her focus to private practice as her interest in continence physiotherapy and women’s health progressed whilst working in the Women’s Health Ward at SJOG Murdoch Hospital. She is passionate about providing holistic, patient- centred and evidence- based physiotherapy assessment and treatment. Hena strives to provide each of her client’s with a holistic treatment plan to effectively manage their presenting conditions and empowers them with the knowledge and skills to take charge of their own rehabilitation. Hena is a member of the Australian Physiotherapy Association and has completed the APA Dry Needling course, Clinical Pilates, Laser Safety Course and is currently completing the APA Women’s Health Physiotherapy series. Outside of work you will find Hena spending time with her friends and family, trying new things like rock climbing and stand-up paddle boarding, and her new favourite interest -hiking. She wishes to be able to read more books, aspires to travel and explore the world at some point in her life.

Louisa Lok completed her Bachelor of Science in Physiotherapy at Curtin University. She began her career in residential aged care and has now joined our team to further her impact on the health and wellbeing of others within the community. Her clinical experience spans across community services, public hospitals, and outpatient clinics. Louisa is dedicated to providing holistic, person-centred care. She ensures that her treatment, management, and advice are delivered attentively and respectfully. She strives to help clients achieve their goals, improve function, and enhance their quality of life through individualized care. Outside of work, Louisa enjoys spending time with family and friends, as well as travelling the world to experience different cultures, perspectives, and hear people’s stories. In addition to her work as a Physiotherapist, Louisa has a background as a dental assistant. This experience has strengthened her attention to detail and fueled her passion for helping others prioritize their health.

Gianni (John) Zanoli graduated from Curtin University in 1988 as a physiotherapist and went on to work at Royal Perth Hospital and Fremantle Hospital until returning to study at Curtin University, subsequently attaining a Post Graduate Diploma in Sports Physiotherapy in 1994. Apart from the hospital setting, John has worked in private practice in Applecross, Naval Base and Spearwood. Also, he has been the team Physiotherapist for SBL team Cockburn Cougars and WAFL team EFFC which provided a diverse foundation of experience for private practice life. In late 1997 John became the Principal of Parkwood Physiotherapy Centre. After 18 years at the helm, John has since stepped down and has continued on as an employee. John’s expertise is in Sports Physiotherapy & Rehabilitation but he is additionally interested in the treatment of headaches/migraines and hand therapy. Born and bred in Fremantle, John is a Fremantle Football Club tragic, loves getting out on the golf course and watching cricket.

Trish graduated from Curtin University in 1988 as a physiotherapist. She has worked in a wide variety of settings including both public and private hospitals, private practice and in the community particularly with the older population in both WA and NSW. Her specialties include hydrotherapy, exercise therapy and fall prevention. Trish is also a research physiotherapist at Curtin University in the areas of strength and balance exercise for older people and fall prevention. She recently did a presentation at the National Grassroots Falls Conference. Trish has been an elite middle distance runner and continues to keep fit with walking her kelpie and hiking. In her spare time, she loves reading and gardening.
