Yarra Psychology specialises in providing personal counselling to individuals and a range of services to Corporate Clients. Our practice is led by an experienced Clinical Psychologist, Merril Winney who has substantial life experience and has been working in private practice for the last 16 years. Merril has experience working with adolescents, adults and couples of all ages. Merril uses Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to assist clients presenting with anxiety, depression, work/life stress, relationship issues, adjusting to life transitions and health issues, in particular sleep and cardiac illness. Merril has experience working in the area of critical incident debriefing and attending to the needs of clients experiencing a crisis. Merril provides professional and personal counselling focusing on the individual needs of each client. Merril operates from 2 locations: St Kilda location -CoWork Me, 245 St Kilda Road, St Kilda South Yarra location - Como Centre level 19, 644 Chapel Street, South Yarra. both locations are easily accessible by tram and have on street parking.

She has historically operated in two locations in the eastern suburbs of Richmond and Mitcham, prior to moving to one larger location in Church Street, Richmond in 2014.
