Dr Michael Nixon

Dr Michael Nixon graduated from Medical School in 2015 and has acquired over 8 years of experience in General Practice, working in Papua New Guinea as well as remote areas in Australia. He works with the RACGP Research Ethics Evaluation Committee and has worked extensively with the Northern Territory Remote Health Department. Dr Nixon received an OAM in the Queens birthday honours for work in Indigenous Health in the Northern Territory. His special interests include Mental Health, Sexual health/HIV, Skin health and Chronic Disease Management. Outside of work Dr Nixon works with the Anglican Church, working as a Priest and is involved with singing and choir.
