Dr Gilda Brunello has worked in General Practice in Brisbane, and the Lower North Shore of Sydney with an interest in mental health, women’s health, Paediatrics, adolescent health, sexual health, preventative health and chronic disease. Over the last 5 years Gilda has been working in the youth mental health service, headspace, working in multiple centers throughout Sydney. She has also worked for the NGO, Uniting in the Adult Mental Health Service and the Youth Enhanced Support Service as a Mental Health General Practitioner. In 2023 she completed a Certificate in Psychiatry and became an accredited Eating Disorder provider. In addition to work at Pittwater Family Practice Gilda also work in a Psychiatry practice with a special interest in Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder. Gilda believes that general practice providing a place where the health of the mind and the body comes together to provide whole person care within a long term, trusting, collaborative and inclusive relationship. Gilda has 3 adult children and in her spare time in an enthusiastic bushwalker and traveller.
