Trained and qualified in the UK over 20 years ago, Ash has a holistic approach to optometry because he believes that eye health can be affected by lifestyle and general health. He focuses on finding the best and simplest solution and takes great care to achieve this for every patient. Ash has a special interest in children’s vision and finds it easy to build rapport with his younger patients in order to ensure that their experience of optometry is as relaxed and fun as possible.

Having first become involved in optometry aged 17 to support herself through uni, Ashita Vadher has worked in and out of the industry for 25 years. After running a corporate optometrist, Ashita and her husband Ash have opened an independent practice in Canberra called Eyecentric, which focuses on providing personalised and holistic eye care, something they found lacking in the corporate world.
