Movement and recovery have been central to Mackenzie’s life long before she started her physiotherapy career. Growing up playing high level touch football and netball, she have experienced her fair share of injuries – experiences that shaped her understanding of the physical and emotional side of physiotherapy and inspired her to pursue it as a career.
Mackenzie graduated from Western Sydney University with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy with Distinction. Also graduated as Dux of her cohort.
Mackenzie values the opportunity to follow a person’s recovery journey from start to end in the private practice setting. Navigating all the challenges that come with recovery, she is committed to supporting people not just to recover, but to truly achieve their personal goals.
She have a strong interest in musculoskeletal conditions, specifically sporting injuries. She has been working with these populations for the last 3 years doing sports trainer and physiotherapy work for Softball NSW and Touch football NSW. Tailoring her approach to provide a patient-centred care with both manual techniques and exercise, helping athletes get back on the field playing and feeling their best.
