Nathan has completed a Bachelor of Health Science and Masters of Physiotherapy practice at La Trobe University and is a certified Strength & Conditioning coach through the Australian Strength and Conditioning Association.
Working as the Head Physiotherapist for Casey in the NBL1 since 2021, Nathan has gained extensive experience in the management of high-performance sport and basketball injuries (commonly tendinopathies of the foot, ankle sprains, ACL and collateral ligament injuries) and enjoys working with both elite and recreational athletes to help them overcome their injuries and return to excelling at their chosen sport.
He is strongly passionate about youth athletic development and aiming to optimise performance and injury prevention in this at-risk age group, having gained experience previously at a high performance clinic catered for youth NPL athletes in the capacity of both a Physiotherapist and S&C Coach.
Sustaining a variety of injuries in his youth, Nathan is very familiar with the ups & downs that occur as part of the rehabilitation process. He aspires to use a collaborative and personalised approach centred around exercise therapy, to ensure his patients get back to doing what they love most.
In his spare time (if he has any), Nathan enjoys hiking, camping, and is an avid home-cook.
