After graduating from La Trobe University with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy in 1995, Nino went on to complete a Master of Sports Physiotherapy in 2011 at the University of Melbourne. He has extensive knowledge in the treatment of sporting injuries and post-surgical rehabilitation, having worked in leading sports medicine centres in both Melbourne and Sydney. He has also work in rehabilitation, treating motor vehicle accident patients and acute post-surgical joint replacement and reconstructive surgery patients. His areas of interest include shoulder and lower limb injuries.
Currently an academic tutor at the University of Melbourne, Nino has previously worked at / been involved with the Australian National Football team (Socceroos), the Melbourne Victory Football Club, the Australian Young Socceroos U/20 Football team, and Melbourne Heart, along with various other Victorian State Soccer teams.
His other interests include performance medicine, having previously toured through North America and Europe with the Cirque Du Soleil production “QUIDAM” for 2 1/2 years, and worked as a Physiotherapist for the stage musical production “WICKED”.
