Elise is a registered psychologist and board-approved supervisor with several years of experience working in private practice. She has worked across psychology, mental health, disability, and leadership settings. Elise has a particular interest in trauma and complex presentations and enjoys developing a strong understanding of each client’s experiences to support meaningful therapeutic work.
Elise has experience supporting clients with anxiety, depression, trauma-related concerns, grief, and relationship difficulties. She works in a collaborative, person-centred way, taking time to understand clients’ strengths and working alongside them to help make sense of their experiences and move towards improved wellbeing.
Elise draws on a range of evidence-based therapies, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Schema Therapy, Exposure Therapy, Mindfulness, and Motivational Interviewing. She continues to build her skills to ensure her work is responsive and tailored to each individual.
Alongside her clinical work, Elise enjoys mentoring and supporting other clinicians. She is an AHPRA Board Approved Supervisor, and values providing supervision that is supportive, reflective, and tailored to the needs of each supervisee.
