Dr Sarah Cheong was born in Singapore and migrated with her family to Melbourne in 2003. She completed a Bachelor of Science at The University of Melbourne in 2014, and subsequently, a Master of Dental Science at La Trobe University. Throughout her studies, Sarah has had the opportunity to work in a range of rural and regional settings from Bendigo, Mildura, Horsham, Ballarat and Melton, where she has cared for patients.
Sarah enjoys all aspects of dentistry, however she is particularly passionate about oral surgery, periodontal health, restorative and aesthetic dentistry in children and adults. Sarah enjoys meeting new patients and helping them overcome their dental anxiety. She prides herself as being gentle, communicative and empathetic towards her patients. She strives to ensure that her patients achieve healthcare goals and positive treatment outcomes. Sarah remains committed to lifelong learning and professional development.
Outside of work, Sarah loves to spend time with her family, partner and her two cats. She enjoys travelling, playing futsal and soccer. She is a keen St Kilda supporter, and an avid Manchester United fan. Sarah is a classically trained pianist and enjoys musical theatre. She has also participated in dental volunteering programs.
