I have been servicing our local community for over 35 years. I provide complete eye examinations to ensure the earliest detection, diagnosis and treatment of eye disease, complex visual problems including myopia progression control, corneal reshaping therapy, learning and reading difficulties and treatment of visual stress (tired eyes, light sensitivity & digital screen glare) with precision optical filters. My interest in Optometry was the result of being diagnosed with a ‘lazy eye’ as a child and my visits to the optometrist for eyecare & vision training, which allowed me to perform at my best at school. I am very grateful for the opportunity I have to ‘give back’ and help others achieve their potential by providing the best possible eyecare advice and vision solutions. I received my Bachelor of Optometry degree from the University of New South Wales with Honours Class 1 in 1985 and commenced private practice in Fairfield. Ever since my graduation, I have enhanced my expertise in eye examinations, vision correction, spectacle & contact lens dispensing and ocular disease detection & management. I have continued my studies to receive a Graduate Certificate in Ocular Therapeutics and currently studying for my Master of Optometry at the School of Optometry and Vision Science at UNSW.
